What You Should Understand Involving Video Mp3 Players

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

Technology is advancing at an almost unbelievable rate. It changes so quickly that many consumers feel like once they learn about a new electronic device, a new one is released onto the market that is faster, smaller, more efficient, and can accomplish more tasks. Such is the case with MP3 players. When MP3 players first appeared, it was great. MP3 players were small electronic devices where you could store lots of music and play it back at your leisure. The latest incarnations, however, have gotten more complicated and now have expanded audio capabilities as well as video playback. Before you decide which video MP3 player to purchase, there is some information you should have so you can make an educated decision.

First, you should pay attention the the video playback capabilities of the video MP3 players that you are considering. You should note that not all video files are supported by every video MP3 player. For example, one player will only read flv files, whereas another player will only read wmv files. This situation is further complicated as some websites that offer downloadable videos only cater to a particular model of video MP3 player. For instance, iTunes only offer videos for it’s iPods.

You should also know that the size of the screens are small - they only reach 1 ½ to 3 inches. The video playback quality may be somewhat questionable and disheartening because of the small screen size. You’ll have to accommodate the video resolution to match that of the video mp3 player.  Don’t try to watch a video at bizarre angles or if the sunlight is creating a gleam on the screen.

Of course, the most important factor to be taken into consideration is the cost. Video MP3 players cost quite a bit more than an audio MP3 player (the main reason being is that it does more). One of the primary reasons for its price is that most of the devices will be compatible with other electronics, such as your computer and television. Video MP3 players will usually come with the cables needed to connect one device to the other.

The final thing that you need to keep in mind about video MP3 players is that you should be able to download upgrades for the software that comes with your video MP3 player. It is important that these downloads are available because it ensures you a current up-to-date video MP3 player in terms of video encoding.

Although you might feel overwhelmed when you see just how many types of video MP3 players that are on the market today, you simply need to think about what you want. What will you be using it for? Do you intend to use it frequently? It’s the questions like these that will help you make the decision.

Find Your Video Mp3 Player

My Favorite Place

I like reading books. I have liked it since I was little, and my passion has not faded over the years. Because of my passion, I used to make frequent visits to the local library. I liked the peace and quiet of that place, and the large number of books available. Unfortunately, the library had to be closed due to lack of funds, and currently they have not opened another one.

Of course I had no choice in the matter, so I waved goodbye to the library and started looking for another place in which I could read in peace. The park looked like a good enough place, and I found a more secluded spot that seemed perfect. People stayed on the regular paths and didn’t seem to come here, so I decided it was perfect and looked forward to coming back the next day, with a good book.

Unfortunately, when I returned, the place was filled with kids running around and playing. There was no way I could read in these conditions. But I also didn’t want to start looking for another spot, because I liked this one a lot. So I started looking for something to help reduce the background noise to a minimum.

Because I am an avid music listener as well, I decided the best option would be the purchase of an mp3 player, to listen to some classical music while I’m reading. I opted for the SanDisk Sansa e280 , and have not regretted my choice even once. The small player is perfect for my needs, and I can relax and read in peace, while using it.

I’ve grown so attached to it that I started leaving my books at home, when going to my “reading” place. I’ve gooten really used to just sitting there looking at the children and listening to music. I would have never thought it possible: me, without my books?
